Joe Lobos, a 24-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on June 29, 2012, near Olympic Boulevard and Dacotah Street in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, the incident occurred around 12:50 a.m. when police responded to a call.
