Javier "Pepe" Garcia Reyes, an 18-year-old from Oxnard, California, tragically lost his life on September 6, 2013. On the evening of his death, Javier had just celebrated his 18th birthday with his family by going out to dinner. Later that night, he was shot and killed in the area of Napoleon Avenue and Alexander Street. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately treated as a homicide by the Oxnard Police Department.
