Dominic Andrew Mendoza, a 20-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on February 16, 2014, in La Mirada, California. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on the 13000 block of Bona Vista Lane. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, deputies responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 12:41 a.m. Upon arrival, they observed bullet holes in the front door and garage of a two-story home, along with shell casings scattered in the street.
