Joseph Walter, a 54-year-old man, was last seen on May 1, 2017, in Berkeley, California. On that day, he was treated and released from Alta Bates Hospital. Walter, who was homeless at the time, resided in an encampment near the Golden Gate Fields area in Berkeley. After his release from the hospital, he vanished without any contact with friends or family, leaving his whereabouts a mystery.
