Yusuf Latice Davis, a 39-year-old man from Compton, California, was tragically shot and killed on February 23, 2014. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of West School Street in Compton. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, deputies responded to a call about a gunshot victim around 5:16 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Davis lying in the street with gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Davis was pronounced dead at 5:53 p.m.
