Sergio Galvan, an 18-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on May 1, 2014, near Saticoy Street and Densmore Avenue in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Galvan was walking along the street around 9:40 p.m. with two 32-year-old men when a person exited a green SUV, yelled something derogatory, and began firing.
