Jesus Villegas Mendoza, a 23-year-old minister from Stockton, California, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2014, after being struck by a stray bullet. Mendoza was driving home from work on East Main Street near Sharon Avenue when gunfire erupted in the area. A bullet pierced his windshield, hitting him and causing critical injuries.
