On a Sunday afternoon in Baltimore, the life of Carlos Smith Jr. was cut short by gunfire. The 30-year-old man was found on November 7, 2021, at approximately 2:02 p.m. in the 2500 block of Hollins Street. He had been shot and died at the scene.

Carlos Smith Jr., known to some as 'ABAD KRUNCH' or 'KRUNCH DA MENACE,' was a rapper with music available on streaming services. Those who knew him described him as loyal, genuine, and a light in their lives. He was a father of four children.
