Devonte Laray Bowie, an 18-year-old from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on May 24, 2014. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2:25 a.m., in the Nickerson Gardens Housing development located in the 1300 block of East 112th Street in Watts.
