Richard Alan Wurtz, a 37-year-old resident of Charter Oak, California, tragically lost his life on May 30, 2014. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Wurtz was shot and killed in the 21000 block of East Arrow Highway. The incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. when deputies responded to a call reporting shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, they found Wurtz with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:47 a.m. by the coroner's office.
