Eloisa Salas Lara, a 37-year-old resident of Claremont, California, was tragically found dead on June 16, 2014, in Pomona, California. Her body was discovered in a carport behind an apartment building on San Francisco Avenue around 3 a.m. after police responded to reports of gunshots. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Lara had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after officers arrived.
