Yim Yung Pruett, aged 57, was found dead on June 19, 2014, in Hidden Lake Park, Milpitas, California. The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office identified her and her husband, James Bruce Pruett, aged 60, as the deceased. Both had suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head. The medical examiner determined that Yim Pruett's death was a result of suicide, while the manner of James Pruett's death remained undetermined at the time.
