Samuel Ramirez, a 17-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on June 27, 2014, near East 6th Street and South Ditman Avenue in East Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. when deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the area.
