Heron Moran, a 34-year-old resident of Salinas, California, tragically lost his life on July 19, 2014. The incident occurred in the evening when police responded to a call about shots fired at 1036 N. Sanborn Road. Upon arrival, officers found Moran gravely injured and observed several individuals, identified as known gang members, attempting to drag his body into an apartment.
