David G. Grissom, a 17-year-old teenager from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on September 9, 2014. The incident occurred near the intersection of West 28th Street and Hillcrest Drive in the West Adams neighborhood. According to police and coroner's records, Grissom was walking towards the intersection when a young man, believed to be between the ages of 17 and 22, approached him and opened fire.
