Jar Pao Lee, a 19-year-old from Oroville, California, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2014, in a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting on Highway 70. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning as Lee and three others were traveling in two separate vehicles. The assailant, Ker Vang, reportedly believed the individuals were members of a rival gang, although the victims had no gang affiliations.
