Alfredo Buenobaca, a 29-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on November 28, 2014, in Compton, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred near the intersection of East Elm Street and North Poinsettia Avenue. Buenobaca was crossing North Poinsettia Avenue when a dark-colored SUV approached. A person in the right front passenger seat exited the vehicle and opened fire, fatally wounding Buenobaca.
