Alvarez Escalante Wynn, a 24-year-old resident of Compton, California, tragically lost his life on August 10, 1999. Wynn was the son of Philippe Wynne, a singer from the Spinners, and Ava Leflor. His death was the result of a drive-by shooting, a violent act that has unfortunately been a recurring issue in certain areas of Los Angeles County.
