Larise L. Smith, a 56-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on December 8, 2014. Smith was walking his dog in the Leimert Park neighborhood when he was approached by an individual who inquired about his origins. Despite not being affiliated with any gang, Smith was shot multiple times by the assailant. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:22 p.m.
