Larise L. Smith, a 56-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on December 8, 2014. the victims of a series of violent crimes attributed to a suspect known as the "Western Bandit." This individual, later identified as Patrick Watkins, was charged with multiple counts, including the murders of Larise Smith and Nathan Vickers. Watkins' criminal activities spanned from 2011 to 2014 and included armed robberies and shootings. He was known for approaching victims on a bicycle or on foot, demanding money, and often opening fire on them.
Watkins faced a total of 53 charges, including 26 counts of attempted murder, 13 counts of assault with a firearm, and several counts of robbery and shooting at occupied vehicles.
