Matthew Albert Garcia, a 26-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on December 20, 2014, in the 5400 block of Rosemead Boulevard in Rosemead, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Garcia was found on a sidewalk in front of an apartment complex shortly before 6 a.m. He was subsequently taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:58 a.m. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately treated as a homicide, prompting an investigation by t ...
