Derrick Williams, a 23-year-old man from Sacramento, California, was tragically killed on January 1, 2015, in Oakland. The incident occurred at a Valero gas station located at 7225 Bancroft Avenue. Williams was involved in a drug deal that turned fatal when he and his accomplice, Stanford Boatner, attempted to sell Xanax pills to a group of men.
