Christopher Antonio Lander Jr., a 30-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was fatally shot on June 3, 2013. The incident occurred in East Oakland around 11:25 PM while Lander was driving a van in the 400 block of Darien Avenue, located in the Brookfield Village area. Unknown assailants opened fire on his vehicle, leading to his death at the scene.
