Mauro "Mauricio" Noyola-Solis, a 33-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was tragically shot and killed on February 8, 2015. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning as Noyola-Solis was walking home in the Eastlake district, near Lake Merritt. According to police reports, he was shot around 3:20 a.m. on the 300 block of East 12th Street. Noyola-Solis, a father of two, was found with fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
