Benjamin Armenta, a 20-year-old Latino, was found dead on February 10, 2015, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. His body was discovered on a sidewalk in the 2200 block of Sheridan Street around 5:30 a.m. by a local resident who immediately notified the police.
