Lazaro Dreke Rodriguez, a 42-year-old Latino, was involved in a fatal incident on January 29, 2017, in downtown Los Angeles. The altercation occurred near South San Pedro and East Fifth streets around 8:50 a.m. Rodriguez was engaged in a dispute with another individual, which escalated when the other person drew a firearm and shot him.
