On February 15, 2015, 17-year-old Luis David Leon was tragically shot and killed in Dos Palos, California. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. near Palo Alto Street and Palm Avenue. Leon suffered a single gunshot wound to the upper body, which proved fatal. The Dos Palos Police Chief, Barry Mann, confirmed that the teenager was found at the scene and pronounced dead shortly after.
