On October 3, 2022, Amandeep Singh, aged 39, was reported missing along with his family members, including his brother Jasdeep Singh, sister-in-law Jasleen Kaur, and their eight-month-old daughter Aroohi Dheri. The family was last seen at their business, Unison Trucking Inc., in Merced, California. The initial investigation began when a vehicle belonging to Amandeep Singh was found on fire. This discovery led authorities to suspect foul play, and a more extensive search was initiated.
