Janie McCray, aged 57, was found dead on October 31, 2017, in Baltimore, Maryland. Police responded to a call and discovered her body in the 5400 block of California Boulevard. McCray had suffered from a gunshot wound to her back along with other trauma, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation initially did not yield any arrests, but months later, Janie's son, Michael Singleton, was charged with her murder.
