Latrina Ashburne, aged 41, was shot and killed on May 27, 2016, outside her home in the Cylburn neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred early in the morning as she was getting into her car to leave for work. An unknown assailant approached her and shot her in the upper body as she tried to flee. Despite the efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries shortly afterward.
