Douglas Jerome Wilson Jr., a 37-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, tragically lost his life on June 22, 2015. On that fateful morning, Long Beach police officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 800 block of Chestnut Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Wilson in the alley behind his apartment, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
