Wendell Dechaun Lee, a 25-year-old aspiring professional basketball player, tragically lost his life on September 21, 2015, in Willowbrook, California. Lee was visiting a friend and standing outside her home on Elva Avenue when a sedan pulled up. A man exited the vehicle from the back driver's side and, without uttering a word, opened fire on Lee with an assault-style weapon. Lee was struck multiple times in the upper torso.
