On the night of November 9, 2015, Jason Beaulieu, a 19-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 52nd Street. Responding to a call about shots fired, Long Beach Police officers arrived at the scene to find Beaulieu lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite the prompt arrival of paramedics, Beaulieu was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 11:14 p.m.
