Roosevelt Newton, a 34-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was tragically shot on December 10, 2015. The incident occurred near Orange Avenue and East Washington Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Newton succumbed to his injuries the following day, December 11, 2015.
