William Martin Vosseler, aged 2, was last seen on October 9, 1986, in Rochester, New Hampshire, along with his 3-year-old brother, Charles Jason "CJ" Vosseler. The boys were abducted by their non-custodial father, Charles Martin Vosseler Jr., who had joint custody with their mother, Ruth Parker. Charles informed Ruth that he was taking the children for a weekend visit, but he never returned.
Instead, Charles cleared out his office, dismissed his employees, and removed all photographs of the boys. He also drained their joint bank accounts and auctioned off many of the family's belongings in the lead-up to the abduction.
Shortly after the abduction, federal and state warrants were issued for Charles, including charges of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Over the years, Charles was reported to have used various aliases, such as "Dr. Charles Wilson," and was known to have connections in multiple states, including Oklahoma, Florida, and New Jersey. In 1987, a sighting in Stilwell, Oklahoma led authorities to search for the boys, but Charles fled, burning his house and possessions to destroy evidence. Despite a nationwide search, neither Charles nor his sons have been located, and their whereabouts remain unknown.
William, who was 2 at the time of his disappearance, is believed to have been traveling under assumed names. Age-progressed images of him and his brother have been released, and the case remains open, with the FBI offering a reward for information leading to their discovery.Last Seen: Oct 9, 1986
