Raul Garcia Prieto, a 22-year-old resident of La Puente, was fatally shot on December 21, 2015, in Valinda, a neighborhood in San Gabriel, California. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on the 1200 block of Cedon Drive. Prieto was standing on the sidewalk when he was shot. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing Prieto run into a nearby studio apartment, where he collapsed.
