Larry Galvan, a 27-year-old resident of Compton, California, tragically lost his life on February 22, 2016, in a gang-related shooting in East Los Angeles. Larry and his brother Dennis were walking on South La Verne Avenue when they were approached by an unknown assailant who opened fire on them. Larry was struck multiple times in the chest and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while Dennis sustained a gunshot wound to his foot but survived.
