The assailant then re-entered the vehicle, which sped away north on Santa Fe Avenue.
Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 6:50 p.m.

Despite releasing photos of Ortiz and a video of a four-door 2008 black Audi A6, which matched the description of the suspect vehicle, no arrests have been made. The vehicle was captured on a nearby street moments before the shooting, but investigators have not confirmed it as the suspect's car.
