Vallan Clinton Gavilan Jr., a 21-year-old aspiring bodybuilder, was tragically shot and killed on March 26, 2016, in the Vermont Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. while Gavilan was standing near his Chevy Malibu on the 400 block of West 87th Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, an unknown assailant drove by and fired multiple rounds at Gavilan.
