Justin Vaesna Uy, an 18-year-old from Carson, California, tragically lost his life after being shot on April 12, 2016. Uy, a star volleyball player at Carson High School, was found with multiple gunshot wounds at the corner of East 228th Street and Dolores Street. He had left his house to meet a friend near his home, but when the friend arrived around 12:20 a.m., he discovered Uy lying on the sidewalk.
