Douglas Rivas-Rauda, a 20-year-old Marine stationed at Twentynine Palms, California, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2016, in San Bernardino, California. Rivas-Rauda had volunteered to be the designated driver for his fellow Marines on the night of his death. He was waiting in the parking lot of the Flesh Club, a strip club located on West Hospitality Lane, when he was approached by Arturo Perez Medina, a member of the Westside Verdugo gang.
