Damion Wafford, a 19-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2016, in a shooting incident at Lowell Park. The shooting occurred in broad daylight, around 1:39 p.m., near McKinley Elementary School and Emerson Middle School, leading to an immediate lockdown of both schools.
