Samuel Cuevas, a 46-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on May 15, 2016, in the 8000 block of Langdon Avenue in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. when officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon.
