Brandon Gaviola, a 25-year-old transient, was found fatally shot near the Los Lagos Golf Course in San Jose, California, on September 20, 2016. The incident occurred around 12:51 a.m. on a sidewalk in the 3100 block of Lone Bluff Way near Pinto Drive. Gaviola was discovered gravely wounded and later succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately treated as a homicide by the San Jose Police Department.
