Miguel De Jesus Castro, a 20-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on September 26, 2016, in South Whittier, California. According to coroner's records, Castro was shot in the 13500 block of Lakeland Road. The incident occurred the previous evening when Castro was visiting a friend who lived on Lakeland Road.
