Ricardo Ernesto Monterrosa, a 31-year-old Latino, was tragically shot to death on September 30, 2016, in the 8500 block of South Broadway in the Broadway-Manchester area of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Monterrosa was taking a break from work and had just walked out of a thrift store when he was approached by a Latino male who shot at him multiple times.
