On December 12, 2016, 20-year-old Tyson Eduardo Claros was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Highway 255 between Peninsula Drive and Pacific Avenue in Manila, California. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office initiated a homicide investigation into his death.
