Sulma Flores, a 36-year-old Latina, tragically lost her life on January 14, 2017, six days after being shot in the 17500 block of Gilmore Street in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. The incident occurred in the early hours of January 8, 2017, when Marcos Tulio Flores, aged 32, got into a heated argument with his family.
