Roy Torres, a 47-year-old resident of Whittier, California, was tragically shot and killed on February 20, 2017. The incident occurred in his garage, where he was found dead by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The suspect in his murder was identified as his 26-year-old cousin, Michael Christopher Mejia, a known gang member and recent parolee.
