Raul Sanchez Jr., a 30-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on June 9, 2017, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 11:10 p.m. when Sanchez was walking to his car after visiting a friend. As he approached his vehicle, an unknown individual confronted him. After a brief exchange of words, the assailant pulled out a gun and shot Sanchez in a parking lot.
