Jovance Lewis, a 38-year-old resident of Sacramento, California, tragically lost his life on June 16, 2017. According to reports, Lewis was fatally shot while attempting to protect two women from gunfire. The incident occurred on the corner of 42nd Street and 23rd Avenue.
